Sliver of a glimpse --WIP--

So, I know I said I wasnt going to do self portraits anymore... but this one was required! It was my final project for my 2d fundamentals class. I really had to rush to finish it on time, so there is still a LOT of tweaking to be done to it. It's based on the Artist, Chuck Close's, style. He's got amazing artwork, so be sure to check him out. This is also a pretty bad picture of my project, but it 15" x 50" .... so its kind of hard to get a decent pick of.

I called it a sliver of a glimpse because it's an intriguing look in the face... it doesnt look much like my original photo as far as what the look gave off. This picture is also something you can take a quick look at and just see the face, or you can get really close and begin to notice the circles and the color variations. I wish I didnt have to rush this project, because it was amazingly fun when I had the time.
